2005
Dear Fellow Memphis-Area Scientists and Engineers:
On behalf of the technical committee, I am very pleased
to announce the Call for Participation in the 2005 Memphis
Area Engineering & Sciences Conference.
The
intent of this conference is to bring together scientists,
engineers, and other professionals in all disciplines
to share their knowledge and to discuss the current issues
in science, technology, and engineering. With a very positive
outcome from the MAESC 2004 Conference, we are encouraged
and honored to host the seventh annual conference on May
11, 2005.
The theme of this year’s conference is Engineering
Management: Leadership in Engineering Practice & Education.
As with previous conferences, MAESC 2005 will include
papers and presentations on many diverse technical fields.
These include, but are not limited to: engineering management,
bioengineering, chemical engineering, civil and environmental
engineering/science, electrical and computer engineering,
mechanical engineering, biology, biochemistry, biomedical,
biochemical, manufacturing processes, materials, nanotechnology,
ethics, economy, emerging technology, simulation/modeling,
education, innovation. If enough abstracts are received
on a topic to fill an entire session, a new session will
be formed.
MAESC
2005 will also have a poster session for those papers
that cannot be placed into existing sessions.
Many local chapters of national organizations are cosponsors
of MAESC 2005. Being a cosponsor in this conference will
enhance your organizations visibility and perhaps increase
its membership.
All
abstracts are to be submitted via email to abstract@cbu.edu
by February 28, 2005.\
I sincerely invite you to participate in the MAESC 2005
Conference and share your expertise with your colleagues.
Your participation in MAESC 2005 will help make it a success
and broaden the knowledge of the Memphis area technical
community.
Regards,
Joe Londino, Ph.D.
